Life Coaching allows clients the time and commitment to tackle areas of life they feel they need help with, in a structured and proactive way. Often, we can’t do this alone, and having someone else equipped with the right tools and exercises to help us get there can lead to great results.
A Positive Option offers clients the opportunity to work from a framework which can help you stay focused and on track and build the commitment you need to persevere toward end goals. We don’t seek to remove negative experiences from life, but instead aim to bring balance in life and help clients understand how negative experiences can serve a purpose in helping you flourish.
Cognitive behavior therapy, or CBT, is a therapeutic approach that aims to shift negative thoughts and behaviors to more positive, rational beliefs and actions that will help you lead a healthier life and maintain sobriety. Our goal is to help those struggling with addiction learn these strategies through these sessions to aid in your recovery. We believe these skills can help you put together the pieces of your life!
On-line services have a lot of promise and offers benefits compared to in-person services:
It can be convenient. Online counseling can take less time away from the office or your workday or worry about traffic. No need to travel miles to meet up; just dial a number or log in to a site, and the session can happen wherever you are comfortable.
Compared to traditional in-person life coaching, it can sometimes appear less expensive. The online session is significantly lower than in-person visits. If you’re not interested in using health insurance for substance abuse counseling, this can be a benefit.
Online communication is very comfortable for many people, especially younger adults or those who use technology often. More people are using email, webinars and text messaging to communicate, and it can seem more comfortable or easier than talking to someone in person, especially when revealing personal or private information.
